The Dana White’s Contender Series (DWCS) graduates kicked things off by trading shots on the feet, with Oki showing significant aggression as he looked to take the fight to the Scotsman. But midway through the round after Oki took Duncan to the ground, “The Problem” clamped onto a guillotine choke that looked deep. Just when it seemed like Oki had escaped, Duncan signalled to the referee that his opponent was out cold on top of him, and the fight was rightfully stopped.
This was an excellent finish for the 31-year-old Duncan, who gets himself back into the win column and elevates his record to 3-1 inside the Octagon with the victory.
Jacqueline Cavalcanti defeats Nora Cornolle by split decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28)

The Portuguese bantamweight warmed into the fight, staggering Cornolle in the second with a straight right hand and working more effectively in space in the third to secure those two rounds and the victory. But midway through the second, Cavalcanti blatantly grabbed the fence as Cornolle was looking to drag her to the canvas, which unquestionably shifted the direction of the action.
In the end, Cavalcanti was clearly the superior fighter, delivering her most impressive UFC performance to date and rightfully coming away on the happy side of the split decision verdict. Now 3-0 in the UFC, the 27-year-old continues to establish herself as someone to keep close tabs on going forward in the 135-pound weight class.

Barez opened sharply, dropping Altamirano with a straight right hand early in the first, before Altamirano was able to settle in and start finding success with his own striking, primarily his left kick. The second was close, with Barez landing the better individual shots and Altamirano the superior volume before each had massive positive moments in the third, Altamirano early, and Barez late.
The judges were called upon to determine the victor, and when the scores were added up, it was Barez that came out ahead. After dropping is debut in an entertaining scrap with Jafel Filho and enduring some challenges outside of the Octagon since that contest, this is surely a big moment for the talented and entertaining Spaniard.

The brash Argentinian, who missed weight on Friday morning, pursued the takedown straight away, and once she was able to get Zheleznyakova to the canvas and keep her there, she went straight to work. Perez quickly latched onto the choke, forcing a panic tap from her Russian foe without having to fully get into finishing position, highlighting the seriousness of her squeeze.
Since dropping her debut to Stephanie Egger in the fall of 2022, Perez has rattled off four straight victories to establish herself as a genuine person of interest in the bantamweight division. This was her first finish inside the Octagon, and while she missed weight, there is no denying this was an impressive showing from the Argentinian attention magnet.

“Double Impact” delivered a technically sound, fundamentally sharp effort from start to finish, forcing Morales to engage on his terms while utilizing superior striking from range and quality defensive tactics throughout. Morales was game, constantly trying to pressure forward and find success, but Lapilus was simply too sharp and too polished to be denied.
With a clean sweep of the scorecards in Paris, the 32-year-old French bantamweight advanced to 3-1 in his second stint in the UFC and 6-2 in the Octagon overall. Lapilus is the quintessential well-rounded veteran talent that every division needs, and should find himself in another quality pairing next time out.

Klein took the path of least resistance in this challenging matchup, putting Roberts on the deck in both the second and third, where he was able to grind out control time and chip away with short, effective shots. Roberts had flashes, utilizing his length to land some damaging shots, but it simply wasn’t enough.
This was Klein’s seventh fight since shifting to lightweight and he’s now 6-0-1 in the division, which makes the 29-year-old Serbian a dark horse to watch at 155 pounds. Going unbeaten in seven and winning four straight in any weight class is a tall order, and in doing so, Klein should merit a step up in competition next time out.
Oumar Sy defeats Da Woon Jung by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
French prospect Oumar Sy maintained his undefeated record in his first hometown UFC assignment, besting South Korean veteran Da Woon Jung.

Sy built his way into the fight, using his wrestling in the opening frame after Jung landed a sharp knee before ramping up the striking in the final stages of the middle stanza. In the third, the Parisienne resumed targeting the lead leg and continued controlling the action, closing out the frame by once again dragging Jung to the mat and advancing to a dominant position.
This was a valuable growing experience for Sy, who moved to 11-0 with the victory and continues to look like an exciting new addition to the light heavyweight ranks. There is certainly more growth needed, but the building blocks are clearly there for the 28-year-old to push towards the Top 15 if things continue progressing as they have thus far.
Ion Cutelaba defeats Ivan Erslan by split decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28)

“The Hulk” showed more patience and composure than normal in this one, picking his shots a little more judiciously and working to manage his gas tank a little better. There was still some of his usual antics, like feigning being hurt and wide, looping hooks, but on the whole, the 30-year-old promotional mainstay did well to land the more effective shots over the first two rounds before getting outworked by the debuting Croatian fighter in the third.
This was a solid effort for Cutelaba, who got back into the win column after dropping his 2024 debut in March. Nine years into his UFC tenure, Cutelaba remains a consistently entertaining presence in the 205-pound weight class.
