Returning to the Octagon for the first time in nearly two years, former strawweight title challenger Jessica Penne will battle Albuquerque's Jodie Esquibel on February 17 in Phoenix, Arizona.

A former Invicta FC atomweight champion, Penne moved ten pounds south to compete in the strawweight division on The Ultimate Fighter in 2014, and she quickly earned a 2015 UFC title shot against Joanna Jedrzejczyk. Penne has hit a rough patch since that bout, but she expects to get back to her winning ways against the veteran Esquibel, who hopes to snap a two-fight losing skid at Penne's expense this February.
