When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training 13 years ago. I started because I became interested in the sport and fell in love with it.

What professional titles have you held? CageSport Featherweight and Lightweight Champion, Prime Fighting Featherweight Champion

Any accomplishments in amateur combat sports? Was 10-0

Any belts/ranks in grappling disciplines? Brown belt in BJJ

What has been your toughest fight to date and why? Steven Peterson, because we left it all in the cage, and I remember that I had nothing left after the bell sounded in the third round.

Who is your favorite fighter and why? Charles Olivera, because of his perseverance, being 10-10 in the UFC, and then going on an eight-fight win streak to get UFC gold.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? AA in accounting

What was your job before you started fighting? College student. I was fortunate to have support from my family to help me financially so I could train full-time.

Personal Life: Skateboarding, snowboarding, running, dirt biking, camping, swimming, cliff jumping. I just had my first son, AJ. Been married for about eight years to my beautiful wife, Alaina Erosa.
